1.What is your name?
Yuko Eguchi, the First Japanese to go on board.

2.Where are you from?
Tokyo, Japan

3.What is your occupation?
I’m unemployed

4.What did you do to deserve a place on this boat?
I was being good, taking ten weeks of intensive German at Yale and needed a little vacation with the two nicest guys in the world. I think I am the luckiest one.

5.Have you ever been sailing before?
Yes, I have. I sailed with Dr. Fisher once… no, more than once. Many times. And I sailed by myself once, and I sunk.

6.If Jesus won the boat and inherited the crew in a poker game, what changes do you think he would make?
A more cozy, clean bathroom.

7.What song do you think best characterizes this vessel?
I don’t want to say “Titanic” because of bad luck… umm… “Tabidachi” by Kyoudai Bros., or “The Voyage” or the Goonies song by Cindy Lauper.

8.What was the most memorable part of your sailing experience?
When we had dinner on Nantucket, with the beautiful sunset. Of course, you were both very tired.

9.Will Aaron and Brian make it around the world alive?
I hope so, but I’m really worried about you two because of pirates. And don’t go near North Korea; YOU WILL BE KIDNAPPED.

10.What advice would you give to Aaron and Brian?
Keep your mind and body strong and CLEAN. Clean is the most important.
