3. What is your occupation?
I am a writer/producer for Discovery Networks.

4. What did you do to deserve a place aboard Audentes?
I was fortunate enough to be a friend of Aaron's and smart enough to be willing to impose.

5. Briefly describe your sailing experience.
Over half of my sailing adventures have occured under the watchful eye of one or more members of the Cook clan. On the first of those occassions, aboard an earlier incarnation of a Cook family boat, I was nervous and nearly swung the boom into a young woman's head. My jitters, however, have happily receded.

6. If you had to pick four people to sail across an ocean with, who would they be?
Aaron Cook and three other close friends.

7. If Jesus won Audentes in a poker match, what changes would he make?
He'd turn the ocean into a delightful pinot noir.

8. If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be?
This is a terribly difficult question. Probably the Far East. India, China, Japan, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam...

9. What is your favorite book?
Another tough one. "Sons and Lovers"? "Libra"? "One Hundred Years of Solitude"? My answer would likely change every day...

10. What will you remember most about your sailing experience aboard Audentes?
The feeling I had of focusing when sailing the boat steadily and the feeling I had when I discovered that I was comfortable letting the vessel tilt. It was very diffferent, very peaceful and very settling. That...and wandering around the semi-arid backcountry of Aruba.
